You can not add a bounty to Dust mercs even though the option is there in the context menu.
Hmmmm this got me wondering what happens to our assets if we get a visit from a hit squad??
Will it be a hit squad spawning in a battle or a quiet kind of visit at a Station??
And will EVE folks post bounties on other EVE folks or other Dust Mercs??
Interesting is all I can say. |

Clones are clones after all but what if we had a lot of black ops Officer edition HAVs as salvage and a single hit/steal leaves us at zero assets??
A single one of those officer edition items is worth hundreds of millions of isk so saying bye bye to that is going to be stressfull. |

In EVE podding someone with a bounty not only nets the assassin a bounty payout but also has penalties for the victim, their ship loss and potential SP loss and definite loss of a clone.
So for our immortal mercs who don't need to have clones paid for that can hold our SP where is the threat? Simply losing a load out isn't a big deal since we already lose numerous ones in battles. So where is the punishments for getting killed in such a manner?
Well if I had scraped together 120 M isk to buy an MCC after six months!! only to loose it to a single hit thats stressfull

Welcome to New Eden As i stated before i have played eve for nearly 9 years, i lose my first battleship, which cost me 150m back in the day, 30 min after having it. Lost my first carrier 1.8B that Billion with a b, in a week after having it. So yea its stressful, and it sucks, but the rush you get is so awesome you come back more.

Not real usefull unless they are fielding a fully fitted MCC at one billion ISK and then they get team killed in a Corp match.
I can think of three really twisted scenarios involving hated Dust clones and lost MCC/bases/installations. |
